Leora, her mom, and Grandma Ellen went to the ancient city of Akko last Wednesday. They visited the Al-Jazzar Mosque, went down into the subterranean crusader tunnels, had lunch by the sea wall, and bought spices. The next day Grandma Ellen left for Beirut to visit Leora Diza's great great aunt Betty. A great big happy birthday to Betty; we love her, and miss her and wish Diza was meeting her in person right now. Grandma Ellen returns back to Tel Aviv on Sunday and we are very much looking forward to her return!
