cake

Leora's mom made a cake on the day Leora turned 6 months old. Due to fatigue, a corresponding lack of focus and other technical difficulties, the cake was not really a success. Mom and baby are still recovering from jet lag, which may be a factor.

6 months!

Leora Diza turned six months old today! Her mom found an "excersaucer" for her at a garage sale which greatly captivated her attention. Everything needed to be explored by mouth. Leo-di also gave a running commentary, "nang nang ning...".

stroller

Diza loves to go out with her grandparents in the stroller. Her favorite position is to lean way over the side and watch the sidewalk go by.

jet lag

Leo-di enjoys some time at her Grandma Ellen and Grandpa Bob's house after her trip. It also gives her and her mom time to recover from jet lag before heading back to New York.

plane

On the way home Leora Diza enjoyed the in-flight movie and made friends on the plane. First she met Maya and Adam, and then sitting behind them were two more children named May and Adam! Leora wishes her new friends the best of luck and hopes to see them on her travels again some day.

airport

Leora held her dad's hand on the way to the airport, and spent time with him there before her trip home. She will miss him for the next 4 weeks!

bye beach

Leora enjoys her last day at the beach for now.

shakshuka

On their last day in Israel, Leora, her mom, and her grandma go to Jaffa Port for a shakshuka breakfast, and then stroll around the flea market before heading for the beach.

ciao for now

After visiting the Galilee, Leora went to Haifa to say goodbye to Christopher, Alex and Uri, as it was her last weekend in Israel. We hope to see them again soon.

Last Friday, Leo-di, her parents and her grandmother went to the Dead Sea, but only Grandma went in! Diza and her dad stayed on shore and made faces.
