self-serve
Diza prefers to feed herself now, even if that entails a lot of extra clean up. She also likes to drink from a real cup.
the morning paper
The weekend before last, Leora's mom finally had to give her a haircut. Here she shows off the new look over the morning paper. That same weekend, Leora became a big fan of bellybuttons. She can now understand simple phrases and commands, so she can point one out to you.
2nd 2nd Christmas
On the day after Christmas, Poppi and Poppina came up to New York to see Leora Diza. Leora enjoyed showing Poppi how the ball popping machine works, and listening to Poppina read "The Pokey Little Puppy".
Christmas Morning
Leo-di woke up to a sunny morning and lots of presents, one of them being a handmade tapestry from her Grandma. Then everyone went outside for a walk and we came across a small Santa Claus.
Dartha
Leora Diza visited her great great aunt Dartha on the day of Christmas Eve. She was impressed with Dartha's singing bear.

2nd 1st birthday party
On December 23, 2008, Leora's Grandma gave her another birthday party for the family to attend. Aunt G and Uncle Aa, Aunt Sue and Uncle Charlie, Cousin Norman, GG (Great Gran), and Leora's mom all came to Grandma's and Grandpa's house to celebrate. Leora had a great time, but wasn't to sure what all the fuss was about birthday cake.
